WELCOME TO 2008
From The New LAA President: Elaine Muncaster

Again the New Year has forced its way upon us and let us hope that the summer weather improves, unlike 2007.

I would like to introduce myself: I am Elaine. Many of you will know me if you attend outdoor or indoor tournaments. I have been involved with Lancashire archery for over 18 years, since my return after 4 years in the wildernes . Prior to that I was a Cheshire Archer, and I hope you can forgive me for this diversion. I am currently a member of Rochdale Company of Archers and Eccles AC.

I have now taken on the job of Secretary for LAA as well as Team Manager, but the most important thing is that I have been honoured by being appointed the LAA President for a period of three years. During this time I would like to meet as many Lancashire Archers as possible and visit most shoots in the County – lets see how I manage.

Should you wish to get in touch:

After the Orrell Indoor (27 January) and the Chorley 18/25m Combined on 24 February the outdoor season will start, my favourite time. All winter training, tuning and confidence building will be put to use. Get out on the open tournament field – this is where you will learn a great deal more – just like passing your driving test. More Lancashire archers are needed on the tournament circuit to spread the word how good we are in Lancashire and are ready to take on any foes/opponents.

GREAT FORTUNE AND GOOD SHOOTING IN THE COMING YEAR
